When moving the bonus round teleporter in Crash 1

What needs changing to change the return teleporting checkpoint? As in, I've moved the teleporter but when die/complete the bonus round I return to the original checkpoint position. Not sure how to move it?

Not sure if I've seen this done in any custom levels so far (unless ARD knows)
The point you return to is set by a different entity, it's most likely in the bonus file or wherever the teleporter object was stored and usually (always?) called Path_AltCheckpointEntity.
