hi cogmokey , i beg you to create those two mods , there are many people who really crave them , despite the fact that some people are ashamed to admit it XDXD

I did manage to accidentally create a very limited infinite jumps mod which moves you up whenever you jump and down when you spin, but it's incredibly slow (probably need to jump 20 times before you even reach the height of a normal jump) and it disabled all other forms of movement so even though you can move forwards and back and left and right, you're in a "falling" state all the time so can't actually walk or even jump normally so the game isn't really playable like that. But as I said that was accidental so maybe if I go looking for a way to do it I might get somewhere. The only thing I've really been able to change about jumping is slightly increasing the jump height by swapping the jump animation with something else but it's not much of a difference. I am gonna keep investigating what it's possible to do by modifying the moveset like that though.

I think there's probably a way to mod invulnerability into the game in some form - there's plenty of files relating to damage and death states so there might be something in that but in the meantime you can achieve a couple of types of invulnerability using cheat engine. All the cheat tables I've found online are out of date now but I'm gonna try to put one together that works on the latest version of the game and that's the best I can do for now.

thanks for reply Big Grin  , well of course this kind of things require some time , i am not an hacker so the only suggestion i can give in order to crate it could be to contact Hacc , the hacker who succesfully created the invulnerability code for the three original games ( along with many other excellent codes https://www.crashmania.net/downloads/cra...eshark.txt ) , even assuring that the invulnerability don't prevent you to attack the enemies and the boxses , and about infinite jump , the code for the original game were meant to make the game believe that after a jmp you come over a surface for an instant , and that concept allow you to jump as long as you want
